New Head of Asset Management Appointed at Moventum Asset Management
Carsten Gerlinger has been named the new Head of Asset Management at Moventum Asset Management, effective from August 1, 2021. This appointment follows the retirement of Michael Jensen, whose career at Moventum spanned over 30 years.
Jensen's predecessor's tenure at Moventum was even longer, with a career history that predates Carsten Gerlinger's tenure. He joined Moventum in 2002 and established the fund asset management at the company. During his time at Moventum, he held roles outside of private banking and portfolio management in Luxembourg. Notably, he was responsible for portfolio strategies at the company.
From 2013 to 2019, he served on the management board of the Luxembourg fund platform. Prior to joining Moventum Asset Management in 2015, he had been with the company since 2002. Interestingly, Jensen's predecessor did not have a previous role at Quint:Essence Capital, where Carsten Gerlinger's most recent role was before joining Moventum.
Carsten Gerlinger's career history includes multiple banking institutions, with nearly 20 years of his professional experience being in private banking and portfolio management in Luxembourg. He joined Moventum Asset Management in June 2015 and has been with the company since then. His career also includes stints at Commerzbank, DZ Bank, and Deutsche Bank.
Prior to joining Quint:Essence Capital, Gerlinger's career at Moventum Asset Management is not widely publicized. For precise information about his career history before Moventum, it is recommended to check his LinkedIn profile or official biographies on professional networking sites or company releases.
The confirmation email for Carsten Gerlinger's subscription has been sent, marking the official start of his tenure as the Head of Asset Management at Moventum Asset Management. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of the company under his leadership.
Carsten Gerlinger's prior role was at Quint:Essence Capital, a company other than Moventum, where he served before joining Moventum Asset Management. In the future, his career at Moventum Asset Management may include management of finance-related business activities, potentially leading to advancements in business careers within the organization.
