NDP 2025: Five Bus Routes to Omit Certain Stops in June Distance of Rehearsals, Northeast Exhibition

Revised Article:

Hey there! Let's chat about some changes coming to Singapore's bus services this June.

A few routes – buses 61, 502, 960, 960e, and 961 – will see some adjustments on three Saturdays (14th, 21st, and 28th) due to National Day Parade (NDP) rehearsals and the first National Education Show.

Now, here's the lowdown on the affected stops: Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road, Bras Basah Road, Central Boulevard, North Bridge Road, Parliament Place, Raffles Avenue, Raffles Boulevard, Temasek Avenue, and Temasek Boulevard will experience some disruptions. You'll also find skipped stops at various MRT stations, such as City Hall, Downtown, Esplanade, Marina Bay, and Promenade, as well as at spots like The Float @ Marina Bay and the Suntec convention centre.

The timing for these diversions varies, with some stops skipped from 8am to 11.59pm, while others will be affected during parts of the afternoon and evening. It's important to note that bus service 961 will skip stops at Supreme Court in Parliament Place and one after Raffles Hotel in Beach Road for the entire day.

Stay in the loop, commuters! You can get more details from the SMRT customer hotline on 1800-336-8900 from 7.30am to 8pm daily or visit www.smrt.com.sg for more information.

By the way, NDP 2025 is set to take place at the Padang and Marina Bay on August 9th. And get this – for the first time ever, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be performing the guard of honor contingent at the parade!

To get the latest updates, don't forget to follow Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) or transport operators for specific details on bus service diversions and affected routes closer to the rehearsal dates. That's all for now – happy sailing, folks!

Fun Fact: The first National Day Parade rehearsal is scheduled for June 14, 2025, with two more combined rehearsals following on the 21st and 28th of the same month! Stay tuned for more updates as the big day approaches.
