Nestle, the multinational food and beverage corporation known for its iconic brands such as KitKat and Nescafe, is under new leadership. Philipp Navratil, the company's former Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to CEO, taking the reins from Paul Bulcke who stepped down after 46 years with the company.

Navratil made his first public comments as CEO today, emphasizing the need for everyone to contribute to making Nestle better. In a post on LinkedIn after a global staff event, he stated, "We are moving fast, and I want us to move even faster. I want us to be open to fresh ideas on how to deliver the future of food."

Navratil's focus includes delivering Nestle's 2025 objectives, which include increasing organic sales growth and maintaining a profit margin of at least 16%. He also mentioned that Nestle is open to fresh ideas on how to achieve these goals.

In July, Nestle predicted an increase in its organic sales growth for the year. The company expects its profit margin to be at or above 16% for the year. Navratil expressed a desire for Nestle to move faster in order to meet these expectations.

The changes in leadership at Nestle are a response to the company's ongoing efforts to adapt and innovate. Navratil's comments focused on tasty, healthy, and affordable food, reflecting the company's commitment to providing high-quality products that meet the needs of its customers.

Navratil's promotion came after the dismissal of Laurent Freixe, who was let go due to an undisclosed office relationship. Since his promotion, Navratil has also initiated the replacement of Nestle's chairman, Paul Bulcke, who has not yet announced a replacement.

With Navratil at the helm, Nestle is poised to continue its journey towards achieving its 2025 objectives. As the company moves forward, Navratil has emphasized the importance of everyone contributing to making Nestle better and being open to fresh ideas on how to deliver the future of food.
