Nestlé Sells Nordic Premium Culinary Business to Solina
Nestlé has agreed to sell its Nordic Professional Premium Culinary business to Solina. The deal includes the popular brands OSCAR and PULJONKI, along with two factories in Denmark and Finland. The transaction is set to close by the end of March 2023.
The sale allows Nestlé to concentrate on its remaining out-of-home portfolio. Nestlé Professional Zone Europe will continue managing Premium Culinary outside the Nordics. Meanwhile, Solina sees this acquisition as a way to strengthen its presence in the food service sector and introduce OSCAR and PULJONKI's high-quality culinary solutions to new markets.
Patrick Relan has been appointed as the company leader associated with the acquisition in Northern Europe. Nestlé, however, remains committed to the Nordics and will continue to serve Nordic families with its products.
The sale, which only affects Nestlé's Professional Premium Culinary Business in the Nordics, is expected to close soon. Nestlé believes Solina will provide the right environment for the continued success of the OSCAR and PULJONKI brands.
