Ninh Binh Tackles Labor Recruitment Hurdles for Japanese Firms
Ninh Binh, a Vietnamese province hosting 114 Japanese projects worth $1.46 billion, is tackling labor recruitment challenges faced by Japanese firms, particularly post-Lunar New Year. Officials are addressing these issues to ensure smooth operations.
Provincial Party chief Truong Quoc Huy has pledged to swiftly remove obstacles for businesses. The province is developing social housing to tackle labor shortages in industrial zones. Infrastructure projects connecting key economic centers are being prioritized to ensure stable employment.
Officials are working closely with businesses to streamline administrative procedures. Shikoku Cable Vietnam, a Japanese company, is currently facing occasional power outages and insufficient drainage systems. Tree coverage in industrial zones is also causing visibility issues and traffic risks. Provincial Chairman Pham Quang Ngoc is directing departments to address these infrastructure challenges.
