Novomatic AG Appoints Stefan Krenn as New Member of the Executive Board
Stefan Krenn, a seasoned manager and proven expert within the ranks of Novomatic AG, has been appointed as a new Member of the Executive Board of the Austrian gaming and casino technology company, effective from February 15, 2024.
In his new role, Krenn will join Ryszard Presch and Johannes Gratzl on the three-person Executive Board, working alongside them to shape the strategic development of the company. Dr. Bernd Oswald, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Novomatic AG, made the announcement with delight, expressing his confidence in Krenn's abilities.
Krenn, who has a background in economics and media law, has played a significant role in shaping Novomatic's strategic development in recent years. He has held diverse roles at the company since 2015, including Secretary General, Global Division Manager, and Authorised Representative.
Currently, Krenn is serving as Managing Director of several group subsidiaries, and he has not previously been mentioned as serving on the Supervisory Board of Novomatic AG subsidiaries.
Krenn's new role on the Executive Board will see him overseeing and supporting Novomatic's international expansion strategies, particularly in the casino sector. He has made an important contribution to the company's success and has publicly commented on significant acquisitions, such as the acquisition of the Vikings Casinos group in France, which strengthens Novomatic's long-term international expansion plans and highlights France as a dynamic European gaming market.
Krenn has expressed his commitment to the sustainable success, further expansion, and international positioning of Novomatic AG. He has also thanked the Supervisory Board for the trust placed in him and looks forward to his new responsibilities on the Executive Board.
Dr. Bernd Oswald, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, wished Stefan Krenn all the best and much success with his new responsibilities. Krenn is an experienced manager and a proven expert from within Novomatic AG's ranks, and his appointment is expected to further strengthen the company's leadership team.
