Ogilvy's Toby Talbot Steps Down as ANZ Chief Creative Officer

Toby Talbot, the inaugural Chief Creative Officer for Australia and New Zealand at Ogilvy, has left the role after serving for three and a half years. Talbot's departure is effective by the end of this week.

Talbot assumed the trans-Tasman CCO position in January 2022, overseeing creative teams across both countries. During his tenure, he helmed notable campaigns such as 'Til It's Done, Meet Me at the Coke Sign, The Spot, and Kentucky Fly.

Under Talbot's leadership, Ogilvy introduced the Return On Creativity (ROC) framework, broadening the conversation beyond traditional ROI. Reed Collins, Ogilvy APAC Chief Creative Officer, commended Talbot's influence in revitalizing the ANZ creative offering. Despite his departure, a seasoned creative leadership team remains in place.

Toby Talbot's departure from Ogilvy comes after a tenure marked by innovative campaigns and the introduction of the ROC framework. His next role remains unknown as of now.
