Over 50 Entrepreneurs Gather for 'Practical Talk' on Energy Efficiency
Over 50 entrepreneurs gathered at the Hettich Group in Kirchlengern for the 'Practical Talk for Clever Energy Solutions in Companies'. The event, organized by the Company Network Climate Protection, brought together local businesses and the Climate Protection Management to discuss sustainability and energy efficiency.
Daniel Menke from the Hettich Group kicked off the event by discussing photovoltaics, heat recovery, and a pilot project aimed at reducing natural gas consumption. Jan Hüttner, economic developer in the Herford district, praised the commitment and expertise of local companies in sustainability and energy efficiency.
Philip Kleineberg from ProElectrify presented practical solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including bidirectional charging and smart energy management. Sonja Hauptmann, involved in economic development in the Herford district, was responsible for providing information about future events related to inter-municipal economic development. Hüttner highlighted that smart, flexible energy solutions help businesses act long-term and enhance their 'green' image.
The event was deemed a success by Birgit Rehberg, head of the department for regional development and climate protection, due to the valuable exchange and networking opportunities it provided. Future events will be announced through the intermunicipal economic development, keeping businesses informed and engaged in sustainable practices.
