The Faller Packaging Group, headquartered in Waldkirch since 1882, has decided to consolidate its two current sites in the city at the new location. The move will establish a modern, secure workplace for the company, which operates in the packaging industry.
The development plan for the new industrial area of Inried was implemented with this agreement. CEO Dagmar Schmidt, who was present at the contract signing, sees the new area as offering planning security and opportunities for further development. The mayor of Waldkirch also emphasised that the new location will serve as an economic hub. In the years after 2024, the city of Waldkirch together with Faller Packaging Group plans to expand infrastructure and build additional industrial buildings by implementing the purchase of over 30,000 square meters in the new Inried industrial area.
