Philippine Oil Giants Hike Fuel Prices by P80-P20 Per Liter
Five major oil companies in the Philippines - Pilipinas Shell, PetroGazz, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, and Caltex - have announced a price increase for diesel, gasoline, and kerosene. The adjustment will take effect from 6 a.m. onwards on October 7, 2025.
Diesel prices will rise by P80 per liter, while gasoline and kerosene will increase by P20 per liter. This minimal oil price increase is attributed to the rising costs of crude oil in the global market and higher refining and distribution costs. The companies stated that they have absorbed some of the increases in recent months, but the latest adjustment is necessary to maintain their operations and services.
Consumers are advised to expect the new prices at the pumps starting October 7, 2025. The oil companies have assured the public that they will continue to monitor the market and make adjustments as necessary to ensure a stable supply of fuel in the country.
