In Wiesbaden, commuters are urged to stay informed about the latest developments as a water main break on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring on August 8 has caused significant disruptions to the city's bus service.

Some lines, including 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49, are affected by these changes, and travel times may be impacted significantly. For instance, lines 22 and 27 will end early at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop.

Detours are being taken via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, and Hasengartenstraße to accommodate the disruptions. From August 11, lines 21 and 22 will serve the temporary stop "Plutoweg" on the B455.

Passengers are encouraged to check the official website or social media of Wiesbaden's local public transit authority, ESWE Verkehr GmbH, for alerts and updates. Local Wiesbaden news outlets and transit apps with live disruption updates for Wiesbaden buses are also valuable sources of information.

It is important to note that without official data, specific affected routes or travel time recommendations cannot be provided at this time. The ESWE-Verkehr Network Map, available for reference, may not reflect the current changes due to the water main break.

Commuters are advised to plan their trips in advance and allow extra time for work or school commutes. The changes in ESWE Verkehr's line traffic are in effect immediately and will last until further notice.
