Regional Leaders Advocate for Establishment of ASEAN Monetary Fund to Enhance Financial Stability among Member Nations, as Perioned by PM Anwar
A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Putrajaya yesterday when a toddler, just shy of three years old, tragically passed away. The accident took place at a public housing unit within Precinct 9. The police received a report about the incident at around 2:24 pm on May 17.
Putrajaya police chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed shared that the report came from a doctor on duty at the Putrajaya Hospital. The doctor stated that the young boy, covered in blood, had been brought in by his father. After a thorough medical examination, it was confirmed that the child had unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The case is still under investigation, with a post-mortem examination scheduled for 8 am on Sunday, May 18, to shed more light on the unfortunate incident. Initial allegations suggest that the boy might have climbed a sofa, placed near the guardrail, before falling from the seventh floor. It's important to note that reports suggest that the sofa was located on the eighth floor, which raises questions about the circumstances leading to the fall.
ACP Aidi Sham is overseeing the investigation to determine the cause of the tragic accident. Stay tuned for more updates as the investigation progresses.
