“Working with you once was an honor and a pleasure. I adored writing for you on 9JKL all those years ago,” penned Liz Feldman, creator of 9JKL, on Instagram. “I merely adored YOU. Spending time with you. In your mesmeric sphere. That we got to collaborate again on No Good Deed was merely a blessing. You were, as always, incredibly generous, hysterically funny, and flawlessly apt. Ready to play and full of life. Your warmth and kindness was unrivaled.”

“She was such a legend. The primary role I had in television was playing her daughter,” mentioned Patricia Heaton in a video message on X. “She was my mentor, my guardian angel. She truly looked out for me, taught me a lot, not just about acting but about life. And we had dinner a couple of months ago when I was in L.A., and she was just as sharp and funny and energetic as she always had been.”

“I’m going to miss her. She was a great friend,” Heaton concluded.
