Rossmann Expands to Ebikon, Switzerland
Dirk Rossmann GmbH is set to open a new branch in Ebikon, Switzerland, on August 21, 2025. The new store, located within the "Mall of Switzerland," one of the largest shopping centers in the country, will span nearly 520 square meters and offer approximately 17,500 items.
The store will cater to a diverse customer base, including professionals, commuters, young families, and students, who prioritize quality, sustainability, and fair pricing. The range includes health, wellness, personal care, beauty items, baby and family products, and well-known Rossmann brands, as well as many Ideenwelt products.
The operational features of the branch include the employment of 14 staff members across different roles, the installation of three self-scanning checkout lanes for efficient, customer-friendly purchasing, and the availability of regular cash registers for classic service.
Rossmann places great emphasis on sustainability and differentiates itself by offering a wide range of organic and natural cosmetics. As part of the opening, a special donation campaign will support the "AbiKe-helps" Association. Sales generated during the opening will be converted into a donation.
Customers presenting a Rossmann mailing flyer will receive a free Isana aroma soap. Additionally, Rossmann bags filled with selected surprises from the Rossmann brand range will be distributed to customers on all opening days. All customers will receive a 15% discount on the entire range from August 21 to 27, 2025, excluding special and initial food as well as gift cards.
The press is invited to accompany the cash register action on August 21, 2025, from 3 pm. A symbolic handover of the donation check by Fabrizio D'Ascenzo, Managing Director of Rossmann Switzerland AG, to the association will take place after the cash register action.
Ebikon, bordering Lucerne, is an important residential and shopping location that attracts commuters and families. The opening of the new Rossmann branch continues Rossmann's successful Swiss market entry following the openings in Emmen and Biel/Bienne.
