Saarland Seeks Households for Comprehensive Economic Survey

The Statistical Office of Saarland is currently seeking households from the region to participate in a comprehensive economic survey. The survey, known as the Living Conditions and Income Survey (LWR), aims to gather detailed information about income, expenditure, and living spaces in Germany. Mayor Marc Speicher has shown his support for the initiative and encourages local residents to take part.

The LWR survey, conducted regularly, records a wide range of data including income and expenditure, consumer goods ownership, and living situations. This information helps paint a detailed picture of living spaces across the country. To participate, households are asked to document their daily expenses for a month and answer additional questions.

Those interested can register and find further information online at www.lwr.de. Alternatively, they can contact Mrs. Baldle at the Statistical Office of Saarland for assistance. Her contact details are as follows: Phone: 0681 - 501 6143, Email: [email protected]. Participation can be done digitally via an app or traditionally with paper documents, offering flexibility to suit different preferences.

A sample of households is selected monthly from the registrations, and the chosen participants are promptly informed. The Statistical Office of Saarland hopes that many households will take the opportunity to contribute to this important survey, helping to provide a detailed and accurate snapshot of living spaces in Germany.
