Sadzi Martha Oliva Named New President of Aqua Indiana

Essential Utilities Inc. has announced Sadzi Martha Oliva as the new President of Aqua Indiana, effective September 2, 2025. She succeeds Bob Ervin, who retires after 27 years of service. Oliva, fluent in Spanish and French, brings a wealth of experience in regulatory leadership, legal expertise, and community engagement.

Oliva will officially assume her role on January 15, 2024, leading Aqua Indiana's water and wastewater operations. She aims to build upon the foundation laid by Ervin, who is known for improving operations, fostering strong community partnerships, and delivering high-quality service to customers. Oliva's appointment comes after serving as a Commissioner with the Illinois Commerce Commission and holding senior leadership and legal roles in Illinois state agencies. She is eager to continue delivering safe, reliable water and wastewater services in Indiana.
