A Texas lawyer, asserting he will eventually represent over a hundred accusers planning to file civil lawsuits against Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing him of crimes such as sexual assault, rape, and sexual misconduct with minors, amended a lawsuit filed in October to accuse rapper Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, of taking part in raping a 13-year-old girl along with Combs in 2000. Jay-Z dismissed the allegations as "senseless" and strongly denied them.

The amended suit includes Jay-Z in the allegations, claiming he raped the girl alongside Combs.

In a Sunday evening statement, Carter accused Texas attorney Tony Buzbee of attempting to extort him. He stated: "What he calculated was that the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No, it only made me want to expose him for the fraud he is in a very public fashion." Carter also expressed his sympathy towards victims of sexual abuse and criticized Buzbee for exploiting their stories for profit.
