Significant disruptions on primary transportation arteries: hold-ups on major transit artery

Latest update, 8:30 AM: Most transportation services have resumed. However, slight hiccups persist across all lines.

On Monday morning, an S-Bahn malfunction triggered delays of up to an hour on lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, and S8.

The affected S-Bahn has been removed from the tracks due to the technical glitch at Marienplatz. As a result, some trains are terminating prematurely or are being re-routed.
