Silvia Winkler has been appointed as the new regional manager in Frankfurt.

Winkler's career path has been marked by a keen interest in sustainable finance. She completed her banking apprenticeship at Sparkasse in Hanau in 1992 and has since worked as a credit advisor and held positions at Chase Manhattan Bank Frankfurt and Hauck & Aufhäuser Lampe.
Her work has always been guided by the thought of how money benefits people. This philosophy was evident in her tenure at Oikocredit, where she strengthened educational, public relations, and network work.
The new Frankfurt branch of GLS Bank will open on September 23rd at Leipziger Straße 17, marking a significant expansion for the bank.
