Sranan Gold Corp. (CSE: SRAN) has revealed impressive gold price today from its Tapanahony project in Suriname. Grab samples from the Poeketi target area returned values up to 26.7 grams per tonne (gt), with an average of 25.8 gt. This significant discovery is part of a 4.5-kilometer gold price trend, and the Poeketi target has been extended to over 1,000 metres based on recent results.
The mineralization at Poeketi is hosted in fault-filled quartz veins with sulfides in selvages close to highly strained volcanic wall rock. The shear zone is striking west-northwest and dipping between 70 to 80 degrees to the southwest.
