Supermarket Chain El Rancho to Celebrate Renewed Operations in Dallas with a Grand Event

In the heart of Dallas, Texas, Heritage Grocers Group (HGG) is set to unveil the renovated El Rancho Supermercado store on July 2, marking a significant milestone in the company's mission to deliver exceptional shopping experiences that celebrate culture, quality, and authenticity.

El Rancho Supermercado, a banner of HGG, has undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations, transforming the store into a modern marketplace that reflects the vibrant and diverse community it serves. The renovated store features a modernized Fresh Mercado, a vibrant produce department, an expanded Tortillería, and an updated Cocina.

The grand reopening ceremony will begin with a ribbon-cutting at 7:00 a.m., followed by remarks from local dignitaries and elected officials. The first 300 customers will receive a $20 El Rancho gift card and a free reusable tote bag, while supplies last.

In addition to the physical transformation, El Rancho Supermercado has also debuted a loyalty program, offering participating customers points, e-coupons, and more. As part of the Super Gangas campaign, the store has lowered prices on thousands of popular items, offering significant discounts.

Heritage Grocers Group (HGG), the largest Hispanic and ethnic food retailer in the United States, is No. 70 on The PG 100, Progressive Grocer's 2025 list of the top food and consumables retailers in North America. The company's commitment to community engagement and customer service is evident in its philanthropic initiatives.

Manos y Corazones Unidos, El Rancho's philanthropic arm, will donate more than $46,000 to local nonprofits, including Pleasant Grove Food Bank, Dallas Independent School District, and Olive Crest. HGG's Heritage Grocers Giving Foundation engages customers directly by enabling in-store fundraising campaigns where customers round up their purchases to aid at-risk children and families, reflecting a community-focused approach to customer engagement.

The store will continue to operate daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Following the grand reopening ceremony, a parking lot event featuring live mariachi music, folklorico dancers, product giveaways, and samplings will begin.

The El Rancho Supermercado store in Dallas is one of HGG's 114 stores across six states - California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Kansas, and Illinois.
