This agreement affects more than 10,000 wage employees and trainees, with an additional 600 employees from TÜV SÜD Rail GmbH in the rail sector set to fall under the collective agreement in the future.
The key details of this wage agreement include a negotiated wage increase, a one-time payment, and a defined duration for the agreement. Specifically, employees covered by this agreement will receive a wage increase of 8.7% spread over two years. The breakdown is as follows: a 2.5% increase from October 1, 2025, and a 2.8% increase from January 1, 2027.
In addition to the wage increases, there is a one-time payment for all employees, with lower wage groups receiving €450 and trainees receiving €200. The one-time payments will be paid out by the end of September.
Trade unionist Volker Nüsse, who played a key role in the negotiations, expressed satisfaction with the additional annual payment of €350 for ver.di colleagues from 2025. He described the agreement as a "tough piece of work with a solid result overall that exceeds expected inflation."
Volker Nüsse, who is also an industry expert at ver.di, emphasized the importance of continued commitment from colleagues for future improvements. He can be reached for further questions at 0175 225 36 11.
