TechGen's WA Copper-Gold Projects Show Promise After IP Surveys
TechGen Metals is actively exploring two copper-gold projects in Western Australia, the Blue Devil and Mt Boggola. The company has recently completed a second stage Induced Polarisation (IP) survey at Mt Boggola, with promising results indicating two significant chargeability anomalies, MB1 and MB2, yet to be drill tested.
At the Blue Devil Project, TechGen has initiated an IP geophysical survey to target high-grade copper-gold mineralisation. This follows impressive rock chip results, with copper up to 52.3% and gold up to 5.35 g/t. The project also boasts an identified 2.75km long EM conductor and intrusion targets. Meanwhile, at Mt Boggola, TechGen has completed a second stage IP survey and conducted rock chip sampling near targets. Eighteen samples are currently awaiting analysis.
Historical drilling by Newcrest Mining in 1991 at Mt Boggola stopped short of reaching high-chargeability zones, leaving potential for TechGen's upcoming exploration. The company is preparing for a heritage survey scheduled for October 21, which will pave the way for potential drilling of identified targets. TechGen's near-term plans also include completing IP survey data analysis and determining drill targets.
TechGen's strategic positioning with two copper-gold projects in recognised geological provinces of Western Australia is yielding promising results. With recent IP surveys and rock chip sampling at Mt Boggola and Blue Devil, the company is poised to advance its exploration efforts, potentially unlocking significant copper-gold mineralisation.
