Starring Fabiola Guajardo (The Heartless), Iván Arana (Lord of the Skies), and featuring the special appearance of Cristián de la Fuente (Passionate Lover), this thrilling drama combines tension and high-stakes action.
The plot revolves around Maria Guzmán (Guajardo), a woman who appears to have it all – a prosperous career, a young son, and a loving fiancé, FGE commander Pedro José Cruz (de la Fuente). However, their idyllic life meets a violent end on their wedding day as a band of assassins infiltrates the ceremony, murdering the groom. In the wake of this tragedy, Maria's world crumbles. Her family abandons her, her assets are confiscated by the government, the press demonizes her, and her late husband's adversaries pursue her for costs she was unaware of regarding unlawful arrangements.
