Temporary road closure on Schledehauser Straße for a week due to new canal house connection works
In the city of Osnabrück, there will be some changes to bus line 18 from July 2 to 8, as SWO Netz AG carries out necessary sewer work on Schledehauser Way.
During this period, Schledehauser Way will be fully closed for approximately one week. The closure is necessary to accommodate the construction site for a new sewer connection at house number 70.
As a result, several bus stops along the usual route will be suspended, including Waldschule Lüstringen, Lüstringer Berg, and Bruchweg. However, two temporary replacement stops will be set up on the detour route to serve passengers.
The detour route for bus line 18 will be via Natruper Straße and Sutthauser Straße instead of the usual route along Schledehauser Way. Temporary bus stops will be set up at Natruper Straße near the intersections with Schledehauser Weg and Sutthauser Straße.
Additionally, during the closure, buses on line 18 will detour via Stadtweg and Waldstraße. Two temporary replacement stops for bus line 18 will be set up on this detour route.
It is worth noting that pedestrians will still be able to pass through the construction site during the road closure.
The work is expected to be completed within one week, and service on the affected stops will resume once the construction is finished.
This work is being carried out by SWO Netz AG, and the company is responsible for the construction work on Schledehauser Way in Osnabrück. The company aims to maintain service for passengers along the affected route as much as possible during the construction period.
