Train service extends from Crimea to St. Petersburg
A new train service, the "Tavria" operated by "Grand Service Express" (GSE), has commenced today between Crimea and Saint Petersburg. Starting May 24, this additional summer train (No.177/178 on the Saint Petersburg - Simferopol route) will make its first departure from Simferopol at 21:10.
The train will stop at several stations along the way, including Moscow's Kursky Station on May 26, and arrive in Saint Petersburg later the same day. From Saint Petersburg, the train will depart on May 27, stopping in Moscow and other cities before reaching Simferopol on May 29. The train route encompasses stops in Tver, Moscow, Tula, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, and Temryuk.
This is the third "Tavria" train service between Saint Petersburg and the Crimean peninsula. The train will operate every other day alongside the daily trains No.7/8 to Sevastopol and No.179/180 to Yevpatoria.
The train features one-level sleeping cars in classes 2L, 2E, and sleeper cars in class 3L. Ticket sales for the new service open 90 days in advance.
In terms of travel resources, you can typically visit the official websites of national railway companies or local transportation authorities for train schedules and information. Keep in mind that international travel, such as from Crimea to Saint Petersburg, may be subject to geopolitical situations or travel restrictions. As always, it's important to check the latest travel advisories and news before planning your trip.
The "Tavria" train service, operated by Grand Service Express (GSE), will not only cater to the industry of transportation but also provide anticipation for the automotive sector with its stops along major cities, such as Moscow and Tver, en route from Crimea to Saint Petersburg. The financial implications of this new service, with its one-level sleeping cars and ticket sales beginning 90 days in advance, are set to impact the overall finance sector.
