Which Artists are Slated for the 'SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert' Performance?

It's a exciting time for "Saturday Night Live" fans as the iconic show celebrates its 50th anniversary this weekend! Kicking things off with some musical flair, several artists from the show's early days to the present will be performing at the "SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert" on Peacock.

With executive producers Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson at the helm, the event will take place live from New York City's Radio City Musical Hall on Friday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. In preparation for the big event, Netflix recently started streaming director Jason Reitman's film "Saturday Night," which revisits the 90 minutes before the initial airing of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 11, 1975. The movie creatively incorporates bits from some classic episodes of Saturday Night Live's early years, while staying true to the content of the first episode.[3]
