Tallest German Resident Tests Cars for Unusually Tall Drivers

Jannik, a 24-year-old from Hannover who stands over 2.25 meters tall, utilizes social media to test various cars for tall drivers, reaching a vast audience. The plumber's YouTube channel has amassed nearly 200,000 followers and has become famous for showcasing the challenges of navigating everyday life as a very tall person in his entertaining, authentic videos.

One of the most successful formats on his account is the car-testing series. Initiated on a whim, Jannik began trying different vehicles to determine if they were suitable for tall drivers. In just two months, the videos accumulated over 18 million views on TikTok alone.

His primary goal is to guide and inspire tall drivers by demonstrating that many vehicles cater to their unique needs. Behind the viral success lies a wealth of valuable information about which cars can comfortably accommodate the height-challenged.

Among the cars he found particularly fitting is the Mercedes-Benz G700, despite its deceptive exterior size. Jannik discovered that the technology packed inside shrinks the space for tall drivers, making it a less ideal choice for those over 2 meters tall.

On the other hand, the BMW X7 proved to be an excellent option for larger drivers, despite its impressive size. Although bigger vehicles don't always equate to more space inside, the BMW X7 provided nearly a perfect fit for Jannik.

Contrary to expectations, the compact Volkswagen Golf 7 works surprisingly well for tall drivers, as Jannik learned during his tests. Set aside first impressions - the Golf might just be a suitable option for tall people.

For city driving, even the Smart Cabrio 451 offered a functional fit, despite being a compact city car. While the process of getting in is a bit more complicated, once inside, the space is sufficiently roomy for tall people.

Jannik continues to share his experiences and provide guidance for tall drivers, focusing on helping those who may not have the opportunity to test drive vehicles themselves due to their family responsibilities or other obligations.

With a diverse range of cars fitting tall drivers, Jannik believes the market caters to the ever-increasing average height of the population. Adjustable seats and minor modifications ensure that many vehicles remain suitable for taller individuals. His goal remains to provide insights for people facing similar challenges, showcasing the possibility of finding a perfect car match. The future may even hold a car tailored specifically to his needs, he jokes, until then, he'll continue cruising in his Opel Combo.

What vehicles are suitable for drivers over 2 meters tall? Jannik, a tall German resident, found that the BMW X7 and Volkswagen Golf 7 worked surprisingly well for tall drivers. For city driving, the Smart Cabrio 451 also proved to be a functional fit. Despite their size, these cars offer comfortable accommodations to taller individuals with adjustable seats and slight modifications, highlighting the growing market that caters to the increasing average height of the population.
