Wiggers Carpentry Expands in Northhorn with Eye on Innovation

Wiggers Carpentry, a renowned local business, has expanded its operations in Northhorn. The company, established in 1962, specializes in crafting high-quality wooden stairs, parquet floors, and furniture. It recently moved to the A31-Nordhorn-Klausheide-Ost industrial area nine years ago and has since grown significantly.

The company's success can be attributed to its focus on custom-made products and traditional craftsmanship. Wiggers Carpentry currently employs eight people, two of whom are in training, demonstrating its commitment to skill development.

Recently, the company acquired a state-of-the-art computer-controlled CNC machine for material cutting. This investment in technology, alongside plans to significantly invest in automation, shows Wiggers Carpentry's forward-thinking approach. The company now boasts 1,100 square meters of production and storage space and 300 square meters of exhibition space.

Northhorn's economic development officer, Ingo Niehaus, recently inspected the expansion of Wiggers Carpentry. He praised the company, considering it an excellent example of the innovative power and growth of the Northhorn middle class. Wiggers Carpentry has secured an option on further commercial areas in Klausheide for potential spatial growth.
