Wiggers Carpentry Unveils Expanded Premises, Plans Automation Investment
Northorn-based Wiggers Carpentry has unveiled its expanded premises, now boasting 1,100 square meters of production and storage space, and 300 square meters dedicated to exhibitions. The company has also secured options on additional commercial areas in Klausheide for future growth.
Founded in 1962, Wiggers Carpentry has built a reputation for bespoke craftsmanship, specialising in wooden stairs, parquet floors, and furniture. The company moved to the A31-Nordhorn-Klausheide-Ost industrial area a decade ago and has since grown to employ eight people, with two currently in training.
Managing Director Heinz-Jürgen Wiggers recently showcased the enlarged production area and new exhibition room to Northorn's urban economic developer, Ingo Niehaus. Niehaus praised Wiggers Carpentry as an excellent example of innovative power and growth among Northorn's medium-sized businesses. The company plans significant investments in automation to facilitate future expansion.
