A modern and innovative savings bank is currently seeking a Commercial Customer Clerk (m/f/d) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will be expected to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a positive work environment, and handle various banking transactions. Specifically, you will open new accounts, manage account maintenance, process customer transactions, and support bookkeeping functions. You will also act as a receptionist, respond to customer inquiries, and provide training to other staff as needed.
Moreover, you will be responsible for handling sales and redemption of CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes, preparing bank statements, and supporting electronic banking services such as internet banking, mobile apps, and bill payment systems. Upholding security standards for transaction processing and fraud prevention will also be part of your duties.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have at least a high school diploma, with some college preferred. You should have at least 2 years of experience in banking or related financial services, with experience in tellering, new accounts, and general banking operations preferred.
Technical skills such as PC literacy, typing speed (~45-50 wpm), 10-key by touch, and familiarity with banking software systems are essential. You should also possess strong communication skills (oral and written) with customers and colleagues, a strong marketing and sales orientation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed. Bilingual skills are often required or preferred.
